Newbie Affiliate Marketers face a big challenge.
They have to work out what business model to follow, what technical issues they need to solve and need to work out which products to promote. But behind all that there is what you might think of as a philosophical question – whether they should be guided by their love of the niche they have chosen or to look at the market research numbers and let the profit potential make the decision.
Playing into this is the movie, “Field of Dreams” which leaves a wistful echo at the back of your mind, “Build a stadium, they will come!”
I have always been doubtful of the “follow your passion” school of thought – being a Physicist at heart I just love to crunch the numbers and advise others to do the same. This is deeply unwelcome advice to many Internet beginners who view Market Research as if it is Rocket science or brain surgery!

So who can you trust? One of the people I trust to give sound advice is Lynn Terry, a super affiliate active in many niche markets well away from the Internet Marketing world for over 12 years. She made this short movie recently…
